4 months

I can't believe I haven't posted anything in the last month! Guess time just gets away from you and we have been very busy. Averie has rolled over from her back to her belly and is quite the chatter box! She was too cool for me to take a 4 month picture… At her 4 month check-up she weighed 14 lbs (47th percentile) and was 25.75 inches long (93rd percentile)! Growing like a weed! This also meant another round of shots, poor baby :(

We attend a few baby and me classes that she seems to enjoy, especially the songs, bells (to watch and eat) and ribbons.

Hopefully, by the next post we will be able to share that she is consistently sleeping through the night!

3 months

Better late than never, that seems to be our theme these days… Averie Mae turned 3 months old February 25. She finally is fitting into the tutu I made when pregnant for her! We have joined a few mommy groups and enjoyed meeting fellow moms and babies who all seem to be within 2 weeks of Averie, which is great! 

Averie has been talking a lot more and has rolled to her sides from her back, especially while trying to change her diaper. She loves tummy time and holds her head up for so long, all of the boys in our play group are impressed. She has become more verbal, still loves to kick, holds onto toys & her clothes, starting to find her legs and feet. We are still working on the whole sleeping thing, she is lucky she is cute ;)

Jason took her in the pool for the first time, she wasn't quite sure what to make of it but seemed happy. Still waiting for her to grow into the swim diapers.
