Yesterday was Averie's last day of school in the kitah bet 2s classroom. She has had a great year and learned so much. Currently, she loves to trace her name and the name of everyone in our family. Averie also has a greater interest in arts & crafts this year and learning to use scissors. She enjoyed tea parties, baby doll circle time and could often be found reading in the "library". A few days a week Averie stayed after for cooking and science classes with her teacher to further her love for knowledge and to be with the "big" kids. It was wonderful to see her come home excited about whatever she had made in class. We can't believe how much she has grown!

Sisterly love
I continue to be amazed and have my heart filled by the love that Averie and Rylie have for each other! Don't get me wrong, they of course steal toys and yell at each other like any toddlers do, but when those brief moments pass they play so well together. Our days begin with Rylie walking Averie into her class at school and end with giving each other hugs and kisses goodnight, complete with Averie telling Rylie she loves her. Most days, Averie tells me that Rylie is her best friend and proceeds to tell me that she is Rylie's best friend. Averie always wants to hug and love on Rylie, and will get upset if Rylie doesn't want her to. One day she cried because she wanted to hug rylie in her bed and take a selfie and Rylie just wanted to play, it was too funny. They get so excited to see each other and chase each other, give kisses and even blow raspberries on Rylie's stomach to the loudest giggles I have ever heard. We can only hope that this continues and the girls grow up to remain as close as they are today!
